“I wasn’t trained for this!”
James here.
Over the holiday break I watched a bunch of the show Lioness.
In the show, a woman was recruited from the Marines into the CIA for a special mission.
Except the mission wasn’t going well.
The recruit kept yelling “I wasn’t trained for this!”
Now…
This woman was VERY competent.
And had lots of skills.
(You don’t become a Marine without being capable.)
But
Her skills weren’t specific enough for this mission…
Or developed to a level to handle what was thrown at her.
Which got me thinking about side hustles.
The more skills (and training) a person has…
…The more they make.
Meaning:
People who aren’t at their target income?
They’re really saying “I’m not trained for this”... yet.
My goal is to change that for you.
In 2025 I want you trained to make the most moolah possible - in the least amount of time possible.
To do that?
I need to know what skill(s) you need.
Could you check the skill, if you had it, that would make you the most money?
This’ll help me know what to help you with in 20205.
In your corner,
James Foster
Lioness might be my favorite Taylor Sheridan show. Something that's hit me lately is the idea of leveraging other people's money. It's something we've heard about quite a bit in the investing world. But what's often overlooked is the idea of leveraging (acquiring, controlling, etc) other people's skills, talents, networks, etc. Which to me, is where the money really is.
