What type of online writing (and editing) strikes your fancy?

Are we talking about blog posts? twitter? newsletters? Kindle books? Or something else entirely?

I do quite a bit of online writing already for Medium and Substack which doesn't really pay the bills much and write children and YA novels. One YA novel being published 2024-2025 traditionally, and a poetry collection I self-published is on Amazon and another ready to go. But I guess I'd like to try editing since I do much of that on my own novels and writings and find myself editing books I read sometimes.

Starting, I would say. I'm new to online writing, so I wanted more info on where to start. Email is something I have thought about. Like where and how to display a portfolio when just starting

I write a twice a month blog post for a national women's website. I'd like to do more digital writing for larger audiences and get paid to do it.
