More profitable than picking a niche?

“The riches are in the niches” they say...

…Not saying they aren’t…

But.

Are niches the only place to find Print On Demand success?

If you search Amazon for “gift for cat lovers” or “gift for nurses”...

You’ll find lots of POD products on the first page.

…Many are making dozens, hundreds, or thousands of sales a month. 

Now dig a few pages deeper.

You’ll also find hundreds (maybe thousands?) of POD products with few or no sales.

Womp. Womp.

Niches that can do 1k+ sales a month from a single product?

Are almost always going to be 10 out of 10 competitive.

(Because a niche is what everyone is taught to look for first.)

What if we took a different approach?

Think about this…

If the time to make the products are the same (just a few minutes on Canva)...

The profits are the same (one mug sells within a couple bucks of all the other mugs)...

And two markets are spending as much as each other…

Would you rather be in the market with 10/10 competition?

Or the market with 9/10 competition?

I don’t know about you…

My investor mind is always looking for an advantage.

Even a small one.

I’d take the 9/10 competition over a 10/10.

While niches (like nurses, dog breeds, or gardeners) tend to be 10/10 competitive…

OCCASIONS are less obvious markets (less competition) and sell just as well.
