Halloween coloring books published this month (August ‘24) are selling hundreds of copies…
… And they have under 10 reviews!...
Which means they’re selling based on keywords and pictures - not some big publisher sending their audience to their new book.
If you move quickly there’s still time to get in on the rush!
The 2nd best seller was published less than 2 weeks ago and doesn’t have a single review.

While I still think general coloring books are a crowded space…
Holiday coloring books seem to have plenty of room for new side hustlers to get their foot in the door.
You only need 2 apps to start turning out coloring books:
First: An image AI like Dall-E 3 or MidJourney.
Start prompting your fav AI to create line drawings of everything from pumpkins, to ghosts, to haunted houses.
Second: Book Bolt
Book Bolt will let you upload all your AI images, format your pages, add a cover, and get it over to KDP faster and easier than any other tool I’ve checked out.
It’s also one of the cheapest.
The images above showing the books, reviews, and sales?
All came from Book Bolt too.
It does research just as well as creating books.
… But I don’t want to slow you down by throwing more at you than you need.
Ideally, you’ll wanna get Halloween books up by the end of the month…
… And you can probably get 3-5 coloring, maze, and word searches done before then.
But jump in now.
Or else you’ll have to create and wait for Thanksgiving and Christmas books to start selling.
In your corner,
James Foster
do you have something a little more in depth about how you did this?
