3 Ways to Profit from Other People’s Books
You get to be an author or co-author while barely doing any of the writing.
Wayne here.
Writing a book can be tough…
Especially if you’re starting from scratch.
But if you start with the content already created…
That sounds a lot easier and faster to me.
There’s still work involved…
But the odds of success are stacked in our favor because we can choose content that is already popular.
Popular content is easy to spot today…
In most cases, we can all see someone's book sales and subscriber’s count.
Once we find “in demand” content…
We just put it in front of more people…
Then get paid for doing it.
And folks in our Royalty Ronin group are already putting this into action…
Here’s a post from the Ronin group by JB yesterday…
There are lots of ways to get paid helping authors and creators monetize their content.
Here are three ways…
1. Translation
Find a book selling well in English that hasn't been translated into Spanish, French, or any language you know.
Contact the author with a simple proposal: You translate their book into a new market, they get royalties they never would have seen, and you become the "publisher" for that language.
Several folks in Royalty Ronin are doing this right now.
2. Compilation
Have a newsletter or blog? Your best content can become a book almost overnight.
Take your top 10-15 posts, add an introduction and conclusion, and suddenly you've got a book that establishes your authority. “The Big Book of Income” by Zach Scheidt is an example of a compiled book of his best newsletters.
Even better? Partner with OTHER creators to compile THEIR best content (with permission), add your insights as the editor, and share the profits.
3. Resurrection
Find public domain works (books where copyright has expired) and modernize them for today's readers.
Ryan Holiday did this with ancient Stoic philosophy when creating "The Obstacle is the Way."
Matt Furey did it with his "Farmer Burns Book."
The wisdom already exists… you just put a modern spin on it.
All three strategies can be implemented on your own schedule.
Some experts and authors spend years writing books…
Pouring their heart and soul into their work.
You can swoop in help them out…
And help yourself out at the same time.
As corny as it sounds… it’s a real win-win.
And if you ever wanted to be a published author it’s one heck of a shortcut.

P.S. Here’s one more way to profit from someone’s book…
Add a bonus chapter.
Travis’ book “Make’ em Beg to Buy” is an example.
The book has a bonus chapter at the end with Andy.
And neither wrote the chapter.
It was the transcript of an interview with Travis and Andy… not unlike a podcast (hint).
You can get the book on Amazon here.
